This is an impressive new release wine by Peachy Canyon that shows really nice range. The wine was sourced from the Twin Oaks, Burbank Vineyard, Mustang Springs Ranch, Beato Vineyard, and El Pomar vineyards and is an intriguing blend of 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Cabernet Franc, 16% Merlot, 15% Petit Verdot, and 8% Malbec. This inky colored wine starts with aromatics of blackberry cobbler, allspice, cocoa and hints of cassis. There are flavors of black cherry, black tea, anise, creme de cassis and mocha. Dense and layered, this is drinking beautifully after a one hour decant. Only 297 cases produced. (Best 2016-2028) - June, 2016 (OB)
