2012 TOP 50 WINES - Rank #32
The 2009 Justin Isosceles is truly a new world wine, pitch dark in color, big and powerful. It serves up deep dense layers of blackberry and blueberry fruit, followed by loam, grilled asparagus, bell peppers, warm cocoa, molasses, scorched-earth, spices, violets and toasted oak. Full, rich and concentrated with polished tannins that coat every inch of your palate leaving you with a a mouthful of dark fruit. Composed of mainly Cabernet Sauvignon with 3% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Merlot. (Best 2013-2022) - November, 2012 (JD)
