The 2021 Pandemonium Red Wine is a unique combination of 50% Lagrein, 37% Zinfandel, and 23% Merlot and displays a deep purple-ruby core with a neon blue rim. It’s aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. Dusty earth and crushed peppercorn notes dominate the nose, but the palate is all fruit - think blueberry jam, blackberry coulis, and sweet baking spices. There is a bitter herb and sweet tobacco note on the back palate that I love.
