FOXEN Pinot Noir, John Sebastiano Vineyard 2014

This gorgeous Pinot Noir is sourced from the John Sebastiano Vineyard which is located on the extreme Eastern edge of the Santa Rita Hills appellation. The wine was aged for 17 months in 50% new French oak prior to bottling and begins with beautiful aromatics of pomegranate, red cherries, red raspberry pie and suggestions of baking spices. This is beautifully balanced and complex, with flavors of cola, Asian spices, red cherry pie and lavender accents all coating the mid-palate. The purity of fruit is exceptional, as this delicious Pinot Noir continues to thoroughly impress through the finish. (Best 2017-2029) - August, 2017 (OB)
