The 2004 Sine Qua Non is extremely intense 100% Grenache, you immediately noticed how dark, even black this wine is. The aromas were somewhat more subtle flavors. Still, this delivered bold aromas dark berry flavors surrounded by balsamic and some soy. On the palate the black fruits mixed with an array of other dark berries as well as a spices and pepper. The finish was long with some nice meatiness to go with all the dark berries. This is drinking fantastic right now and there is no reason to hold onto it much longer.
