The Conde de Valdemar Crianza is a blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Mazuelo (Carignan). Aged 16 months in American-oak barrels, this delivers aromas of cherries, spice, tobacco, followed by hints of crushed stone, licorice and rose petal. Very pure fruit on the palate with a backbone of stoney mineral and fresh acidity. Overall a very good valued red that should be enjoyed over the next 5-7 years.
