There is a lot to love with this late bottled Port. This excellent wine begins with aromatics of violets, blackberry jam, dark chocolate shavings and suggestions of coffee grounds. There are rich flavors of stewed blackberry, black cherry reduction and hints of eucalyptus and milk chocolate. The finish lingers alongside lithe minerality.
