The 2015 Poggio Badiola is a blend of 70% Sangiovese, and 30% Merlot which offers aromas of blackberries and dark cherries along with spices, tobacco and toast. This has medium-full body with a lovely round texture and a lingering finish. Overall, a wonderful value which should continue to drink well over the next few years.
