The 2012 Guidalberto is a gorgeous showing, made in a classy, elegant style. It brings beautiful aromas of cherries and cassis, which are followed by fresh mineral, tobacco and spices along with subtle hints of dried earth. This is remarkably clean and focused with a gorgeous fine, silky texture and a layer of underlying acidity keeping it fresh. The finish is so pretty, leaving behind notes of fresh berries and minerals. This Guidalberto is very impressive and already drinking excellent, however there is no need to rush, this should only get better in time. Composed of 60 % Cabernet Sauvignon 40 % Merlot.
