As this Amarone begins to unwind it releases aromas of blackberries, dried plums and hints of raisin followed by dusty leather, chocolate and a touch of savory herbs. On the palate this is full-bodied and nicely polished however seemed to be lacking the depth to take this to the next level. Overall, this is an Amarone that should show best over the short-term.
