The 2013 Arborina is a refined Barolo, made is a classic style. As this slowly begins opens it shows aromatics of strawberries and dried red berries laced with dried leather, spices and intense minerality. On the palate this tightly wound with fine-grained tannins, which are focused around a mineral driven core leading into the long, dry fnish. Showing plenty of restraint, this will need a few years to soften and become approachable. Overall, this is a beautifully made Barolo from the Bovio family, which will offer years of pleasure ahead.
