The 2013 Bussia Barolo from Giacosa Fratelli is simply dazzling, as it bursts open with explosive aromatics of fresh strawberries and ripe cherries, which are laced with minerals, tar, floral and leather nuances. This classy Barolo is silky and beautifully structured, with gorgeous balance of fruit and acidity keeping it fresh and inviting through the juicy, yet refined finish. Overall, this a fantastic showing and while already extreamly attractive, this will also age beautifully. (Best 2019-2030) - July, 2017 (JD)
