The 2012 Barolo is a traditional style Barolo, which opens with pretty aromas of red fruits and strawberries woven together with licorice, rose petal and wet stones all coming together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this offers a medium body, with fine tannins and a long lingering finish. I expect this to continue to evolve over the course of the next few years. (Best 2017-2026) - August, 2016 (JD)
