The 2011 'Ravera' is a bit more serious than the 'Casina Nouva’ with more depth and character. As this begins to open it releases aromas of red berries and cherries followed by spices, rose petals, mint, eucalyptus, licorice and hints of cocoa powder. It possesses a remarkable structure built around a fine, silky texture with lovely finesse. The finish shows excellent length as it firms up and grips a firm hold. This will need some additional time in bottle before it begins to show its best. (Best 2018-2028) - September, 2015 (JD)
