The Pecchenino 'San Giuseppe' Barolo is a fantastic showing in 2011. It instantly opens with wonderful ripe aromas of sweet red berries, strawberries, fresh floral, licorice, mint and mineral. This well-balanced, structured Barolo is wrapped in fine, silky tannins and possesses a lovely inner-sweetness which carries on through the long finish. The 'San Giuseppe' is quite appealing today, but should prove to be even better after some additional bottle age. (Best 2017-2029) - May, 2015 (JD)
