The 2006 Batasiolo Barolo brings aromas and flavors of dark cherry and blackberry along smoke, licorice and hints of cedar. Well structured and firm with a long chewy finish. This has a somewhat of a modern side and can be approachable now with some air, but if you can wait just a couple of years this should gel nicely. (Drink 2013-2022) - April, 2012 (JD)
