The 2012 Brunello di Montalcino from Villa Poggio Salvi instantly grabs your attention with its lovely fresh character and inviting aromas of cherries and strawberries woven together with sweet spices, spring floral with traces of leather, cedar and balsamic notes all coming together in the glass. On the palate is medium to full-bodied, with a lovely elegant mouthfeel, demonstrating notable balance and structure. The silky tannins silky tannins grip nicely on the lingering finish.
