The 2010 Riserva ‘AdAlberto’ is a classic style of Brunello with aromas of cherries and roasted plum woven together with spices, orange zest and underlying hints of crushed stones and damp earth. This medium-bodied, silky and beautifully balanced Brunello finishes up long with red fruits and spices lingering on. Despite currently offering some lovely characteristics, I would certainly allow some additional time in bottle, as it seems to be entering a shut down period. Nonetheless, I expect this to develop over the next few years and emerge gracefully in time. (Best 2018-2028) - August, 2016 (JD)
