The 'L'Olivare' Brunello di Montalcino is a wonderful effort from Fattoria Scopone in 2010, offering aromas of ripe cherries and plums followed by exotic spices, leather, dried florals and minerals. It shows notable structure and balance before finishing up incredibly long and chewy. This is already showing wonderful character and refinement and will be ready to drink upon its release.
