The Le Paturnie Brunello di Montalcino is a pretty showing in 2009. It offers wonderful aromas of dried berries, spices, vanilla and sandalwood. It’s medium-bodied with gorgeous soft, silky tannins that firm up and grip nicely on the surprisingly long finish. This is an excellent Brunello for early approachability and should also continue to show well for another couple of years. (Best 2014-2019) - April 2014 (JD)
