The 2008 Uccelliera Brunello di Montalcino opens up with gorgeous aromas of black cherries, blackberries, floral, minerals, cedar, new leather and spices. It offers a beautiful inner sweetness laced within the silky tannins. This shows wonderful balance and focus, finishing up long and caressing. This is a fantastic Brunello that is drinking very well right now, however fans of age worthy Brunello should have no worries about cellaring this for a decade. (Best 2015-2026) - February, 2014 (JD)
