The 2001 Paolo Bea Sagrantino di Montefalco is a wonderful old-world wine with rustic aromas and flavors of dried cherries and dried plums followed by dried spices, mint, dried floral and even hints cinnamon which emerge with air. On the palate this continues to impress with its remarkable structure, balance and ultra-long finish. Overall, this is a tremendous Sagrantino from the Bea a family.
