WEINGUT REICHSRAT VON BUHL Deidesheimer Riesling Trocken 2013

In 1869, Von Buhl Rieslings were served at the opening of the Suez Canal. The town of Deidesheim is located just south of Bad Durkheim and north of Neustadt. Von Buhl has over 60 hectacres of vines (primarily Riesling) planted in this small town. This wine opens with aromas of green apple, green papaya and slate. This leads to flavors of mushroom, red delicious apple and lemon/lime. Lithe minerality throughout. (Best 2015-2023) - November, 2015 (OB)
