This comes from their Trittenheim estate in the Mosel. This harvest was known for its moderate temperatures and ideal conditions. The wine starts with aromas of unripe pear, cantaloupe and suggestions of starfruit with wet rock. There are flavors of Gravenstein apple, Welches grape juice and unripe pear with strong minerality. Refreshing style Riesling with a range of flavors and mineral backbone that will pair beautifully with sushi. A very solid value from Eifel. (Best 2016-2023) - March, 2016 (OB)
