CARL GRAFF Riesling Spatlese Gaacher Himmelreich 2013

Graach is a small village that lies between Bernkastel and Wehlen. This vineyard has steep, southwest-facing slopes and are set on blue slate. The wine begins with aromas of white peach, poached pear and golden delicious apple. There are flavors of lemon/lime, petrol, Bartlett pear and tangerine orange with lovely minerality. A solid effort, this Spatlese will age gracefully for another ten years. (Best 2016-2026) - January, 2016 (OB)
