The 2018 Château Beauvillage is a lovely showing that begins inviting aromas of dark cherries and plums which are woven together with violets, pipe tobacco and spices that all in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied and well-structured with a velvety texture that leads up to the pretty finish. Overall, this is an excellent effort which should drink nicely over the course of the next decade.
