The 2002 André Clouet Brut was disgorged in 2011 and is showing beautifully at this juncture. The nose embarks gorgeous aromas od rose petals, brioche and green apple. Lush and dense on the mid-palate, the silky mousse delivers flavors of baked apple, nutmeg, starfruit and kumquat. The flavor and aromatic range is absolutely outstanding, as is the fruit weight. This silky Champagne will cellar marvelously for a decade or more as it is nearly impossible to believe that this is already 15 years old. (Best 2017-2027) - May, 2017 (OB)
