Château Saint-Martin is Composed of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, which offers a mix of ripe blackberries and cherries along with sweet spices, tobacco and hints of loam and freshly ground coffee. On the palate this medium to full-bodied red is supported by a soft, velvety texture and a polished frame leading to notes of dark fruits and minerals lingering on the finish. Today this is drinking beautifully, and I expect it to continue to show well over the next few years. (Best 2017-2021) - February, 2017 (JD)
