The 2014 Cuvée Réservée begins with wonderful nuances of blackberries, plums, spices, smoked meats, pepper and wild herbs, which all come together beautifully in the glass. On the palate this is medium-bodied and beautifully structured with fine, silky tannins and excellent overall balance and finesse backed by lovely underlying acidity. The finish remains persistent, as it lingers with pretty red fruits and spices. Overall, this is a lovely Cuvée Réservée, which will benefit from some short-term cellaring, and continue to evolve gracefully over the course of the next decade. (Best 2018-2028) - March, 2017 (JD)
