The 2014 'La Centenarie' is composed predominantly of old-vine Grenache, but utilizes all 13 varietals from the region. As it opens it delivers aromas and flavors of ripe black raspberries and roasted plums, which are woven together with spices, white pepper, floral and hints roasted herbs. This continues to impress on the palate with its velvety texture, beautiful balance and seamless structure which driven by a lovely core of acidity as it heads into the long finish. This is quite impressive already, but I expect it to age well over the the next decade. (Best 2017-2030) - December, 2016 (JD)
