The 2014 Cuvèe Clement V Châteauneuf-du-Pape slowly opens to aromas of black raspberries and cherries which are woven together with exotic spices, pepper, rosemary and hints of black licorice. This medium bodied, elegantly styled wine shows nice balance and finesse backed by beautiful silky tannins and a lingering finish. This will certainly need a bit of time to flesh out, but I expect it to develop nicely with just a few years of cellaring. (Best 2019-2027) - July, 2016 (JD)
