DOMAINE DE BEAURENARD Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Blanc 2014

The Domaine Beaurenard Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is a blend of 30% Clairette, 20% Grenache Blanc, 25% Bourboulenc, 22% and 3% Roussanne and Picpoul Picardan. The aromas are complex with notes of white flowers, pear, ripe peach, fennel followed by a touch of honey and fresh mineral. It as a lovely waxy texture with lots of freshness and layers of pure fruit. This is showing well right now, but it will also develop nicely with some bottle age.
