The 2013 'Cuvée Revelation' is blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Mourvèdre from 80-year-old vines. It offers lovely aromas of dark berries and cherries followed by spices, pepper, licorice and lavender. On the palate this is beautifully textured and balanced with a nice concentration of ripe red fruits and spices, which expand onto the long finish. A solid wine which is drinking exceptionally well now, but will also improve as it evolves with some short term cellaring. (Best 2016-2026) - October, 2015 (JD)
