Plum a a red berries are woven together with exotic spices, minerals with hints of dark chocolate and garrique in this classy Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The medium body is beautifully balanced, with a gorgeous round velvety texture. It remains focused through the finish where red plums and spices longer on. This puts on some weight as it unwinds with air. Needs a bit of time, but should drink nicely over the course of the next decade. The final blend consists of 65% Grenache, 15% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah and 10% Muscardin. (Best 2016-2024) - October, 2015 (JD)
