DOMAINE DU GRAND TINEL Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2013

The 2013 Domaine du Grand Tinel delivers a wonderful mix of red plums and raspberry woven together with spices, white pepper, pretty notes of fresh lavender and hints of rosemary. Beautifully structured, with a wonderful fine texture and a long spice-tinged finish that is long and persistent. This is a fantastic showing, however it will demand some additional bottle age. Composed of 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah, 5% Mourvédre from 70-year-old vines. (Best 2017-2025) - October, 2015 (JD)
