The 2013 'Les Origins’ is composed of 45% Grenache, 35% Syrah and 20% Mourvedre. Aromas of plum and cherries along with wet stones, pepper, garrique and a touch of melted licorice all come together in the glass. On the palate this has a velvety texture with round tannins and a clean finish that lingers on. Allow this some additional time in bottle to flesh out. (Best 2017-2024) - September, 2015 (JD)
