The 2012 'Privilège' instantly opens black cherries and dark plum woven together with spices, licorice, bittersweet chocolate, lavender, applewood and crushed stones. It possesses a medium to full body supported by fine, velvety tannins, which are firmly structured. Everything is wrapped up in a gorgeous finish that shows a lovely fresh character and lingers on. Excellent now, but will need a few more years to fully develop. Composed of 29% Grenache, 11% Counoise, 4% Mourvèdre and 2% Vaccarèse. (Best 2016-2026) - December, 2014 (JD)
