LA BASTIDE SAINT DOMINIQUE Châteauneuf-du-Pape 'Les Hesperides' 2012

The 2012 'Les Hesperides' is another gorgeous showing from La Bastide Saint Dominique. This blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Mourvedre opens up with aromas of ripe raspberries and plums, followed by fresh lavender, pepper and hints of chocolate. The medium-full body is well balanced and structured around fine, velvety tannins that caress their way through the layered finish. A tremendous job by Eric Bonnet.
