The 2001 ‘La Crau’ delivers aromas and flavors of dried plum and cherries, followed by meat, pepper, spices and some citrus notes. It boasts a medium to full body with a soft, silky texture, well-integrated tannins and a long drying finish. This should still continue to show for the next couple years, however, it looks to have already reached its pinnacle. (Best through 2017) - July, 2014 (JD)
