The 2011 Domaine des Sénéchaux Châteauneuf-du-Pape brings wonderful aromas and flavors of ripe dark cherries and plums followed by spice-cake, herbs, licorice and hints of crushed stones. The rich, velvety texture is absolutely gorgeous and this demonstrates remarkable balance. Everything falls into place beautifully and works in harmony all the way through the long spicy finish.
