DOMAINE DE CRISTIA Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2011

The 2011 Domaine de Cristia brings bright aromas of sweetly ripened cherries and plums followed by spices, wild herbs and licorice. it shows nice depth and richness, while firmly supported by velvety tannins. The finish is spicy with a mineral edge. This could use a bit more time in bottle to flesh out, but overall it's an excellent wine. (Best 2014-2020) - September, 2013 (JD)
