The 2010 Sélection Laurence Féraud Châteauneuf-du-Pape is composed from 70% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, 10% Syrah, 10% other authorized varietals. It brings lovely aromas of cherries and plums which are laced with lavender, rosemary, spices, minerals and a meaty character. This shows wonderful finesse and balance as the silky tannins roll right into the bright finish. A fantastic wine, but should become even better as it evolves in bottle.
