Composed of 94% Merlot and 6% Malbec this offers a nice mix of cherries, cassis, spices, herbs, pipe tobacco that all take shape in the glass. Medium-bodied, balanced with fine-grained tannins framing the sweet cassis and spice flavors which work their way through the finish. This is accessible now and should also handle some short-term cellaring.
