DOMAINE OLIVIER CHANZY Meursault 'Les Narvaux' 2014

The 2014 Meursault ‘Les Narvaux’ from Olivier Chanzy is a gorgeous showing which begins with aromas of Asian pear, honeysuckle, lemon zest, smoke, flinty minerals and dried herbs all bursting from the glass. On the palate this is fresh and inviting demonstrating fantastic balance, with a layer of underlying acidity and a wonderful range of flavors which are beautifully focused. Delicious now, however it should also continue to evolve gracefully over the next few years. (Best 2017-2025) - January, 2017 (JD)
