The 2014 Château German is a lovely wine from Alain Aubert, one of the most respected producers in the Castillon. It opens with aromas of blackberries, sweet plum, spices joined with minerals and a smoke character. Medium-bodied with a fine, velvety texture which expands nicely on to a mineral and tobacco laced finish. (Best 2016-2019) - January, 2016 (JD)
