The 2019 Fleur Tabenot opens to inviting aromas of cherries and raspberries, which are laced with spices, fresh cut florals, wild herbs, light toast and licorice nuances. The palate is medium-bodied, with a fine texture and notable ripe red fruits and spices at its core which are underlined by a lovely touch of acidity perssiting through the finish. Overall this is an accessible wine from the vintage that should continue to evolve with some short-term cellaring.
