The 2016 Côtes du Rhone from André Farjon showcases lovely aromatics of black raspberries, blueberries, violets and hints of black olive all soaring from the glass. This medium-full bodied res shows excellent concentration with notable balance. The soft, round texture is gorgeous, as it leaves behind layers of ripe dark berries and violets lingering on the finish. Delicious now and should also evolve nicely with another year or two of bottle age. (Best 2018-2024) - August, 2017 (JD)
