This is a remarkable wine and the by far the best entry level Cotes du Rhone I have ever tasted from Saint-Cosme. It displays ripe raspberry and dark plum along with mineral, lavender, smokey wet earth, and even some sweet licorice. This shows beautiful freshness straight through to the long impressive finish where some spice makes an appearance. This could last until 2015 or maybe even later but I would drink it right now. 100% Syrah. (Drink 2012-2015) - January, 2012 (JD)
