The 2015 Château Calvimont opens to inviting aromas of red fruits, spices, pipe tobacco and subtle hints of orange zest and minerality all coming together in the glass. Medium-bodied, and nicely balanced with a core of ripe red fruits wrapped in an elegant texture which persists through the pretty finish. While appealing now, it would likely be best to allow this another year or two of bottle age before it will show its best.
