The 2010 Chateau Segur de Cabanac is expressive and opulent for the vintage, offering ripe blackberries and cassis along with smoke, minerals and hints of dried herbs and tobacco. The full body is nicely rounded with no hard edges, ending in a caressing finish. This can be consumed early on, but it will also benefit from some short-term cellaring as well.
